On November 8th, 2025, the AKDK Services LLC family came together at Brookfield Zoo for a day filled with creativity, laughter, and holiday cheer!
This year, we had the amazing opportunity to decorate our very own AKDK Christmas tree — and we made sure it proudly showed off our company colors: orange and blue!
Our tree was anything but ordinary. Among the ornaments, you’ll spot sponges and brushes tied with cute bows — a super fun and original idea from our Operations Manager, Dan. -Great job, Dan! 👏
The kids were absolute stars of the day. They poured their hearts into painting snowflake ornaments with their own colorful designs, making each one completely unique. You’ll also find AKDK ornaments featuring our business cards and flyers hanging proudly on the branches.
Oh, and here’s a little secret surprise… 🤫 Some of those ornaments are actually a car freshener with a little tag that says, “Take One!” — so if you visit the zoo, be sure to grab one!
Even though it was one of the first chilly days in Chicagoland, that didn’t stop us from having fun. The air was filled with cheerful conversations, kids’ laughter, and the sound of leaves crunching under little feet. After we finished decorating, we took a stroll to visit the animals and then warmed up together with a cozy lunch at a nearby restaurant.
A huge thank you to our Boss and Operations Manager for organizing such a fun and heartwarming event for the AKDK family! Days like this remind us how special our team truly is. 💙🧡
